GIFT BASKETS AND MORE GIFT BASKETS

So have you ever tried to find the "right" gift for someone and just can't think of anything? I'm not a huge fan of gift cards, I feel they are so impersonal. I am a huge fan of gift baskets though. My mother is an extremely crafty lady, she taught me how to make gift baskets long ago. We use to make them mainly for Easter then started making them for any occasion. It's an amazing way to personalize a gift. I've made gift baskets for birthdays, farewells, Valentines, Bridal gifts you name it.
I have a dear friend, he and his wife are expecting twins (a boy and girl). How exciting! With my busy schedule I was out of town when they had their baby shower, so I missed it. :'(  It seems I am not the only one who did. A few of my friends did as well. So when I arrived back in town, we decided to put some money together and make a gift basket. Of course I'll be the one putting it together being that I'm a master basket put togetherer Lol. So we all took a day out to get the items that will fill up our basket. It is always a fun experience when we are all together anyway. We went from store to store. After our fun filled day I was left with bags and bags of goodies. As well as a HUGE basket that we bought from our local Value Village. You can never go wrong with finding any basket at any thrift store. Baskets cost so much nowadays. You can forget it if you're in the market of purchasing a big basket. Anywho, I was able to take a day out to get our lovely basket together. This basket was fun being that I made one side for a girl and one side for a boy. I actually was able to document the process. A step by step tutorial on how to create a gift basket. I'f you'd like to see it, be sure to CLICK HERE. There's a pic below of what our basket ended up looking like as well as a list of gift basket necessities for any basket. Remember, you can make any gift basket personalized by filling it up with favorite goodies. Christmas is coming up, you can give out gift baskets to friends kids and family members. I just absolutely love them. I think I find more enjoyment out of putting them together than anything else, Maybe that's just me. Hopefully someone is able to make a few. Feel free to let me know if anyone does. I'm about to take a nap.  Hope everyone is enjoying themselves. Till next entry.

Love Lingy
