As we know, there is an unwritten law that says we are not to wear white after Labor Day. Says Who!? I have been one who has never abided by this so called rule. Then again, I have always been one who has never stuck by the rules when it comes to fashion. Recently as early as last year, there has been a new trend featuring white boots throughout the winter seasons. This year they are back and I am loving it.
Recently, while shopping I have been wanting to put my hands on a pair of white boots. Then it hit me! I was walking through DSW's warehouse styled aisles. I saw these white boots with a blocked wooden heel. The cut of the boot and well as the style just spoke to me. Although I have never heard of the brand before, I knew I was getting them.
While getting dressed the other day prior to going out for some food, I reached for my white boots. I chose to pair them with a purple floral dress (originally from free people). With a short dress, I wanted the boots and legs to be the focal points of this fit. To compliment the boots, I grabbed a white blazer. As for my clutch, I wanted to throw some more color into the look. I chose a red clutch/brush bag that I recently thrifted.
That is the look.
Until the next post,
This look can definitely be duplicated. There are tons of floral print dresses currently on the market. Also, there are more and more white boots available. Below I have listed links that can be shopped in case you'd like to achieve this look.
